"I just wanted to thank you again for your presentation. You really did a great job of capturing the emotions of all the students. Your message couldn't have been more perfect for our school. When you spoke about how you came in last place in your first competition, but didn't give up and you kept practicing to be the best clearly hit home for our school." |

"At first I couldn't help wonder why the PTA would bring a man who does bike tricks to a school assembly. I was bewildered...until you started talking about bike safety, never giving up, etc. Really, I was moved. So I just wanted to let you know that as an educator you have my full support and, as a person, my admiration. I hope that you continue to work with kids." |

"What a fantastic show you gave for over 250 excited children and parents at Volunteer Park in Romeoville. Meeting you in person was thrilling for everyone. Seeing your medals up close and hearing about your background were valuable experiences for our audience. Parents and children appreciated your demonstrations about bicycle safety and the importance of wearing a helmet, walking a bicycle across intersections, and not trying dangerous moves in traffic.
Comments from the audience included:
"This was fun, educational, and exciting."
"Great! My son loved it, and I loved that he stressed safety!"
"Keep up the good work"
"The importance of safety was a great contribution to my children."
"Matt Wilhelm was awesome and a great role model for my 8-year old."
The tricks you performed were out of this world! We couldn't believe our eyes when we saw all the incredible movements you can do on a bicycle. We've never seen anything like it!
Thank you again, Matt, for the memorable performance you brought to our community. |

It was a pleasure meeting you and thanks again for the most energetic and motivational assembly our school has ever seen. I'm sure you left an impression with many of our students (and possibly staff too!). Your bike safety lesson was at a level that the students could relate to and coming from a bike pro like yourself, I'm sure will be heeded by most. Plus it was really amazing to see all your stunts!
